As a dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated coach, I have more than 24 years of experience developing player skills, teamwork, and athletic abilities for both girls and boys between the ages of 8 and 19 in all levels of competition. I retired in 2018 after working for 32 years as a Fire Marshal and Building Official in the Bay Area. I have 4 adult children, and was the coach for 3 of them as they played in their youth. I am a grandfather of 7 and I am currently coaching 2 of them.

COACHING PHILOSOPHY: 

My immense background and knowledge of the game of soccer is an advantage in creating an environment that supports player development in many aspects of the game, such as team building, tactical analysis, awareness and game strategies. Through a positive mindset and communication, I am able to guide the learning and improvement of my players, and emphasize core values such as teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. I have been a lifelong student of the game, and I hope to pass this knowledge along to my players as well. My passion for coaching and extensive experience allows me to be an asset to the East County Revolution Futbol Club as a Soccer Coach.

- 2024: Head Coach 2010 Boys Yellow Team - East County Revolution Futbol - 2023: Head Coach U14 & U12 Boys Rec - East County Revolution Futbol - 2022: Head Coach U14 & U10 Boys Rec - East County Revolution Futbol - 2021: Head Coach U9 Boys Rec - East County Revolution Futbol - 2012-2018: Head Varsity Women’s Soccer Coach - Deer Valley High School (Finished BVAL 2nd, 3rd all the years) - Went to NCS 6 years 

- 2013: BVAL COACH OF THE YEAR 

- 2011-2012: Assistant Varsity Women’s Soccer Coach - Deer Valley High School - 2006-2015: Head Soccer Coach Girls (from U10 to U19) Competition “Firestorm” Team - Delta United Soccer Club (Finished Champions U10, U13, U15, and went two times to State Cup Finals). (Won numerous tournaments every year throughout the years) 

- 2006-2011: Head JV Men’s Soccer Coach - Deer Valley High School (2 years undefeated) 

- 2002-2010: Head Soccer Coach Boys (from U10 to U19) Competition “Wolverines” Team- Delta United Soccer Club (Finished Champions U10, U14, U15, U19 and went 2 times to State Cup Semi-Finals. (Won numerous tournaments every year throughout the years)

COACHING STYLE: 

Teaching the players the basics and fundamentals of the game, combined with tactical and technical skills will allow the players to improve each season. My goal is always to have a balanced team which brings players together from all different skill levels to create a strong team.
