POSITION:

• 2012/2013 Girls DPL Head Coach

EXPERIENCE:

I have coached competitive soccer for 6 years with the ECRFC 2011 Girls Blue age group, where we played at the highest level each season, won multiple league and tournament championships, and were finalists in 2024 for the NorCal State Cup State level Division. I have also coached 5 years at the high school varsity level, 2 years as an assistant and 3 as the head coach at Liberty High School earning two league titles and five NCS Playoff appearances.

PLAYING EXPERIENCE:

• 2X Hawaii High Schools State Player of the Year
• State of Hawaii Athletics Hall of Fame inductee as a 3 sport athlete
• Pac-10 Conference Player of the Year
• University of Oregon Hall of Fame inductee
• Seattle Sounders Semi-Pro (2 seasons)

COACHING PHILOSOPHY:

Individual: Create an environment to foster growth with game-like challenges, scenarios, and assignments as well as hard work, determination, confidence, and respect for all. 

Team: As this age group transitions this season from 9v9 to 11v11 the focus will be defensive structure to possession and creativity on offense.

COACHING STYLE:

Prioritizing a balance of team and individual growth/success by focusing on improving in areas that are lacking so that the team and individual reaps success and develops a passion for the sport.
