Coaching Philosophy:  We must develop the whole person.

We teach lessons on and off the field.  On the field, I want players to over-achieve, to be able to train and play outside of their comfort zone and do more with the ball at their feet than they ever dreamed possible.  Players need to be comfortable with the ball at their feet and the training environment must challenge them technically and tactically to create this comfort.  Pressure, decision-making/problem solving, intensity & workload management should be a part of every training session.

Players should come to training and games with proper hydration, nutrition, rest/sleep, and fit enough to outwork their opponent.  They must have a commitment to be the best player for their team that they can possibly be.   The game of soccer is a balance between structure and creative 'free play' and the coaching role is to help the individual player and team strike the right balance to achieve success.  Each player needs to be able to create individually, understand the roles and responsibilities of their position, play composed soccer with pressure, be mentally and physically prepared, and win the individual match ups on the field.

Success comes before Work only in the dictionary.  If we out work, out think, and out play our opponent, we give ourselves a chance to win the game. My teams will be prepared, and have that chance in every game.
